Connecting a non-UK payout account
Preloved Bazaar started in the UK, but selling is now open to sellers based in the United States, Canada and the EU-27 too. If you’re outside the UK, here’s what you need to know about setting up your payouts.
Where you can sell from
You can connect a payout account if you’re based in any of these regions:
- The United Kingdom
- The United States
- Canada
- The EU (any of the 27 member countries)
If you’re outside these regions, you won’t be able to set up payouts yet — we’re looking at opening up to more places over time.
Your country is set once
When you connect your payout account, you choose the country your account is based in. This is important: your seller country is fixed once it’s set and can’t be changed afterwards. It determines the currency you’re paid in and the rules that apply to your account, so make sure you pick the right country first time.
What you’ll need
Connecting a payout account is free and done through our secure payments partner. You’ll typically be asked for some standard identity and bank details so your earnings can be sent to your local bank account in your own currency. There’s nothing to install.
After you’re connected
Once your account is set up, you can list items and get paid in your settlement currency. Everything else — buyer protection, escrow, payout timing — works the same as it does for any seller. If you ever need to change banks, you can update your bank details with our payments partner without changing your account’s country.
