International shipping for buyers

International shipping for buyers

Buying from a seller in another country works just like any other order on Preloved Bazaar — with one extra thing to check before you fall in love with an item: whether it can be shipped to you.

Availability is set per listing

Every seller decides, for each item, whether it ships only within their own country or internationally as well. This is chosen on the listing itself, so it can differ from item to item, even from the same seller.

What this means for you:

  • If a listing offers international shipping, you’ll see a postage option at checkout and can buy as normal.
  • If it doesn’t, no international shipping option will appear — the item can’t be delivered to you, even if you can view it.

So if you’re shopping from abroad, it’s always worth checking the listing before you get your heart set on something.

What you’ll pay for postage

When a seller offers international shipping, they set a flat international postage rate. Buyers in the seller’s own country pay the seller’s standard domestic postage; buyers abroad are charged that international rate at checkout. It’s shown clearly before you pay.

Customs is separate

One important reminder: the postage you pay at checkout does not cover any customs or import duties your own country might charge on an international parcel. Those are charged by your country and paid by you on delivery — see our guide on customs and import duties for the details.

Buyer protection still applies

Shopping internationally doesn’t change your buyer protection. Your payment is held securely until your item arrives as described, just as it is on any other order.
