Before you can receive any money from your sales, you’ll need to connect a Stripe account. This is how your payouts reach your bank, and it only takes a few minutes to set up.
Where to connect it
- Go to the Payments area of your dashboard.
- Select Connect with Stripe to begin.
- You’ll complete the setup through Stripe’s own secure onboarding.
What Stripe will ask for
Preloved Bazaar uses Stripe Connect Express, which means Stripe handles the verification directly. To meet the rules in your country, you’ll be asked for:
- Your personal details — name, date of birth and address.
- Your bank account details, so payouts can be sent to you.
- Some identity verification, as required by Stripe.
Good to know
- Connecting Stripe is required to get paid — you can list and sell before it’s done, but your funds will be held safely until it’s complete.
- Your details go to Stripe, not to Preloved Bazaar or to other users — nobody buying or selling sees them.
- If you ever need to, you can disconnect and reconnect an account — any money being held stays tied to you and pays out to whichever account you connect next.
If you start the setup but don’t finish, the Payments page shows Finish setting up payouts so you can pick up where you left off. Once everything’s done, it confirms you’re set up to receive payouts.
