Preloved Bazaar started with a text message. A wife, fed up that she couldn’t sell her barely-worn Asian outfits anywhere that understood them, asked her husband a simple question: why isn’t there a marketplace just for preloved South Asian and Middle Eastern fashion?
There wasn’t. So we built one.
We got tired of scrolling endless clutter on Vinted, Depop and eBay, never finding the desi or Middle Eastern pieces we actually wanted. So we built the marketplace we wished existed: one made entirely for our fashion.
Our wardrobes are full of lehengas, sarees, sherwanis and abayas, worn once for a wedding or an Eid, then left to gather dust when the trend moves on or tradition calls for something new. Each one cost a small fortune. Each one still has so much life left to give.
