Where can items ship?
Pretty much anywhere. Buyers can be based anywhere in the world, and items on Preloved Bazaar can ship worldwide. Whether each individual item can reach you depends on the seller’s shipping settings, which we explain below.
How to read the shipping cost
On every product page, and in your Bag, you’ll see a clear price breakdown before you commit to anything:
- Item price — what the seller is charging for the piece.
- Preloved Protection — a small buyer protection fee of 50p + 5% of the item price.
- Shipping — the postage that applies to you.
- Total — everything added together, so there are no surprises at checkout.
The Shipping line shows the postage that’s relevant to where you are:
- Your local rate if you’re in the same country as the seller.
- The seller’s international rate if you’re abroad and they ship internationally.
- “Ships within [region] only” if the seller hasn’t enabled international shipping for that item.
Why the shipping figure might change once you log in
If you’re logged in, you’ll see the exact shipping rate for the country saved to your account. If you’re browsing as a guest, the figure shown is the seller’s local rate, labelled by region (for example, “Shipping (UK)”).
So if a price looks slightly different after you sign in, that’s simply us showing you the accurate postage for your country rather than a general estimate.
What “Ships within [region] only” means
Some sellers choose to post only within their own country or region. If you see “Ships within [region] only” and you’re outside that area, that item can’t be sent to you. At checkout, no shipping option will be offered for a domestic-only item going abroad, and the order can’t be completed. If you’d love the piece, it’s worth messaging the seller — but otherwise, look for a similar item from a seller who ships to you.
Buying more than one item from the same seller (bundles)
Found a few things from the same seller? Good news — you won’t pay full postage on each one. When you buy multiple items from the same seller, you only pay the highest single per-item postage rate, not the sum of every item’s shipping. It’s a great way to make the most of one delivery.
International orders, customs & duties
Shopping from abroad? Lovely — just one thing to keep in mind. Orders to some destinations (for example, the US and the EU) may attract customs or import duties, which are paid by you on delivery rather than at checkout. Where this applies, we’ll show a note about it at checkout so you know before you buy. These charges are set by your local customs authority, not by Preloved Bazaar or the seller.
