Messaging lets you talk directly with the person on the other side of a sale — ask a question before you buy, sort out a detail after, or reply to someone interested in one of your listings. It all happens in your dashboard inbox.
Where your messages live
- Open Messages in your dashboard (also shown as Inbox in your account menu) to see your conversations.
- Each conversation is grouped as a thread, with the most recent messages at the bottom and a preview in your list.
Starting a conversation
- As a buyer, you can message a seller from a listing using the Message seller button — handy for asking about fit, fabric or measurements before you commit.
- As a seller, replies to buyers’ questions and offers appear in the same inbox.
Messaging well
- Reply promptly — quick, friendly answers help sales along and build trust.
- Keep the conversation about the item and the sale.
- Be clear about anything that matters — condition, measurements, postage timing.
Good to know
- You’ll get a notification when a new message arrives, so you don’t have to keep checking.
- Keeping payment and delivery within Preloved Bazaar is what keeps your purchase protected — arranging things off-platform isn’t covered.
