What to do if your item hasn’t arrived

Waiting on an order that hasn’t shown up? Don’t worry — Preloved Protection has you covered. What happens next depends on whether the seller has posted your item.

If the seller never posted it

If a seller doesn’t post your order and add tracking, you’re protected automatically:

  • Around day 5, we send the seller a reminder to post your item.
  • If there’s still no tracking by day 7, we automatically cancel the order and refund you in full. You don’t need to do anything — your money comes back to your original payment method.

If it was posted but hasn’t arrived

Sometimes a parcel is on its way but running late. If your tracking shows the item was sent but it still hasn’t reached you:

  • Open your order and choose “Report a problem”.
  • Select “I never received it” and tell us a little more.
  • The seller then has 48 hours to respond.
  • If they don’t respond in time, we’ll decide in your favour and refund you.

A few tips first

  • Check the tracking on your order — it may already be out for delivery.
  • Have a quick look with neighbours or for a “we missed you” card.
  • Keep all messages with the seller on Preloved Bazaar, so your protection always applies.
