How refunds are issued

When a refund is due on Preloved Bazaar, it always goes back the same way you paid — safely and securely.

Back to your original payment method

Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. So if you paid by card, the refund goes back to that same card; if you paid via Apple Pay or Link, it returns to the card behind it. We can’t redirect a refund to a different card or account.

When refunds happen

  • An item that was never posted: if there’s no tracking by day 7, we cancel the order and refund you automatically.
  • A problem you’ve reported: if your case is decided in your favour, we arrange your refund.
  • A seller-agreed refund: if the seller resolves things by refunding you, that’s processed too.

How long it takes

Once a refund is issued, your bank or card provider handles the final step of returning it to your account. This usually takes a few working days, depending on your provider. The payment is processed by Stripe, the same secure service that handled your original payment.

What’s refunded

A refund returns the item price and postage you paid for the affected order. You’ll see the exact amount confirmed when the refund is processed.
