Preloved Bazaar is a marketplace for genuine pre-loved South Asian, desi, modest and wedding wear. To keep it a place buyers can trust, some items aren’t allowed. Here’s what to look out for.
No counterfeit or replica items
Listings must be for authentic pieces. We don’t allow:
- Counterfeit or replica designer wear — fakes or “inspired by” copies of designer South Asian, Middle Eastern or any branded garments.
- Counterfeit or replica bridal and wedding wear — copies passed off as a designer or couture bridal piece.
- Imitation embellishment or labels presented as genuine designer work.
No misrepresenting authenticity
Be honest about what you’re selling. You must not:
- Describe a replica or unbranded item as genuine designer or couture.
- Claim a maker, label or origin that isn’t accurate.
- Overstate the fabric, embellishment or heritage of a cultural or religious garment.
If a piece is unbranded, hand-made or of unknown origin, simply describe it honestly — there’s a buyer for genuine pre-loved pieces at every price point.
Sell with respect
These are often special-occasion, cultural and religious garments. List them accurately, with clear photos and honest condition details, so buyers know exactly what they’re getting.
If you’re ever unsure whether a piece is allowed, the safest approach is to describe it completely honestly and let buyers decide — and if something still doesn’t feel right, get in touch before you list it.
