How buying works on Preloved Bazaar
Preloved Bazaar is a marketplace for preloved South Asian, desi, modest and wedding wear, sold by individual sellers. Buying is straightforward, and every purchase is covered by Preloved Protection.
Every listing is one unique item
Because these are preloved pieces, each listing is a single, one-off item. There’s only ever one in stock, so when someone buys it, it sells out and the listing is hidden. If you’ve fallen for something, it’s worth not waiting too long, as it won’t be restocked.
How to buy
- Find a piece you love and open the listing to see the photos, description, condition and size.
- Add it to your bag, or make the seller an offer if you’d like to suggest a price.
- Check out securely. Your payment is processed by Stripe and held safely until your item is on its way to you.
Good to know
- You pay by card (Apple Pay and Link are also supported).
- Prices are shown in the seller’s currency — a UK seller’s items in pounds (£), a US seller’s in US dollars (US$), and so on. If that isn’t your own currency, your bank or card issuer converts it at their rate when you pay — Preloved Bazaar doesn’t add a conversion fee. What you see on the listing is what you’re charged.
- You can shop from anywhere. Whether a particular item can be delivered to you depends on the seller offering international postage — if they do, you’ll see a shipping option for it at checkout.
- You’ll need an account to buy, which keeps your order and protection tied to you.
Once you’ve checked out, the seller arranges postage and you can follow your order right through to delivery.
