How can we help you?

Why has a listing disappeared?

Found something you loved, gone back for it, and now it’s nowhere to be seen? Here’s what’s most likely happened.

It’s probably sold

Every listing on Preloved Bazaar is a single, one-off preloved item — there’s only ever one in stock. The moment someone buys it, it sells out and the listing is automatically hidden. It usually won’t come back, because there isn’t another one (a seller can only relist it if the sale doesn’t go ahead).

This is exactly why pieces here can go quickly: if it’s the only one, the first person to buy it gets it.

Other reasons a listing might not show

  • The seller has hidden or removed it. Sellers can take a listing down or set it to hidden, for example if they’ve changed their mind about selling.
  • The seller is on holiday mode. Sellers can pause their shop while they’re away — all of their listings are hidden until they switch it back on, then everything reappears.

Showing as Reserved?

A reserved item hasn’t disappeared. If another buyer has an accepted offer on the item, it’s held for that buyer while they check out. The listing stays on the site, and if you’re signed in you’ll see a Reserved badge on it, but nobody else can buy it for up to 48 hours. If that buyer doesn’t complete the purchase in time, the reservation ends and the item can be bought again.

What you can do

  • If you had it in your Bag, that item will show as “Sold” once it’s gone.
  • Browse the seller’s other listings — they may have something similar.
  • Next time, don’t wait too long on a piece you love. With one-of-a-kind items, it’s worth acting sooner rather than later.
