How can we help you?

Correcting a tracking number

Typed the wrong tracking number, or picked the wrong carrier? No problem — you can correct it after you’ve marked an item as shipped, without upsetting your payout.

How to update it

  • Open the sold order in your dashboard.
  • Choose Update tracking — your last entry is shown ready to edit.
  • Fix the carrier or the tracking number, then save.

The buyer is notified of the corrected details so their tracking keeps working.

Does this reset my payout?

No. Correcting a tracking number doesn’t restart the release clock — the item still counts as shipped from when you first marked it, so your payout window carries on as before.

Good to know

  • Only the most recent tracking entry is edited. If you’ve sent a replacement or a second parcel, use Add another instead to record it separately.
  • Double-check the number against your postage receipt before saving so the buyer’s Track parcel link points to the right parcel.
