Adding a tracking number is the step that tells everyone your parcel is genuinely on its way. It’s quick to do, and it’s important — it starts the clock on your payout.
How to add it
- Open the sold order in your dashboard.
- Choose mark as shipped.
- Pick the carrier you used from the dropdown.
- Enter the tracking number from your postage receipt or label, then save.
What adding tracking does
- It starts your payout clock. Your funds are held by Preloved Bazaar, and the release window only begins once tracking is added.
- It lets the buyer follow the parcel right through to delivery.
- It protects you by showing the item was sent, should any question come up later.
Good to know
- Add the tracking number as soon as you’ve posted — the sooner it’s in, the sooner your payout window starts counting.
- Double-check the number matches your receipt so the buyer’s tracking works.
- If no tracking is ever added, the buyer is automatically refunded after a short window — so adding it promptly protects your sale as well as their confidence.
